Advanced oxidation technologies are those processes which involve powerful oxidizing agents such as hydroxyl free radicals to efficiently oxidise a wide range of organic compounds found in water and gas effluents. The chemical reactions involved in advanced oxidation processes are billions of times faster than oxidation that takes place in the environment.
ESCO International offers turn key advanced oxidation processes (AOP) for water and gas treatment applications. Our AOP design is most often used to treat challenging or specific organic compounds from water and cost effectively reduces TOC and COD.

CATADOX – the next generation of Advanced Oxidation Processes for water and gas treatment
An innovative advanced oxidation process developed by ESCO International is set to improve the efficiency of conventional AOP systems, bringing cost benefits for water treatment companies and industry.
The new CATADOX (AOP technology) uses a refined advanced oxidation technique that combines ozone, UV, hydrogen peroxide and a proprietary catalyst.
Advanced oxidation Pilot Plant – the right solution first time
ESCO International’s self-contained AOP pilot plant enables our engineers to experiment with and test the technology before committing to full implementation.
Our advanced oxidation pilot plant will ensure that the most efficient and engineered commercial process is installed in an effective and sound design. This means that the right solution is designed and installed every time.
For new applications or challenging contamination, ESCO International can provide laboratory services to test your water sample using our scaled-down laboratory AOP and ozone pilot systems. Based on laboratory results and existing pilot and field data, collected during the past few years, we can reliably determine the most suitable advanced oxidation system design for your full-scale application.
